Lisa M. Cibik, MD, FACS

Lisa M. Cibik, MD, FACSLisa M. Cibik, MD, FACS is the Director of Cataract Services at Associates in Ophthalmology. A board-certified surgeon, Dr. Cibik is one of the most productive cataract surgeons in the United States.  She received her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University, where she graduated with distinction. She received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Cibik performed her internship at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in internal medicine and her ophthalmology residency at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals. Before practicing at Associates in Ophthalmology, Dr. Cibik was involved in private practice for ten years in the Washington, PA area. She is extremely interested in the education of patients and other eye care professionals, as she is involved in many patient education lectures and screenings. Dr. Cibik has lectured nationally on advancements in cataract removal techniques and technology. Currently she is involved in the investigation of several new ophthalmic medications and devices. She is a member of many distinguished organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association,  the American Medical Women’s Association and Advanced Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
