Martin A. Boscarino, MD

Martin A. Boscarino, MDMartin A. Boscarino, MD is a board-certified, fellowship-trained vitreo-retinal surgeon. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his medical degree from MCP-Hahnemann University School of Medicine. Dr. Boscarino completed his internship at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. He then completed an ophthalmology residency at Nassau University Medical Center/Stony Brook University, where he was named chief resident. After residency, he underwent fellowship training at the National Retina Institute in Maryland. Dr. Boscarino is a member of many professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the American Society of Retina Specialists. He has been involved in numerous studies for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. He has authored publications and given numerous lectures. Dr. Boscarino treats all medical and surgical diseases affecting the retina including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachments and macular holes.
