What a great experience this was. I am so happy that I chose Associates in Ophthalmology instead of a chain LASIK Center. I felt I received excellent care and I really appreciated Dr. Zimmer calling me at home the evening of my surgery to see how I was doing. That meant a lot to me. I cannot begin to say enough positive things about my experience with LASIK, Dr. Zimmer and the entire LASIK staff. My first call to inquire about the procedure was directed to Lynn. She took the time to answer all of my questions and told me to call her if I thought of anymore. Finally the pre-op examination came and again I was greeted by a very courteous and enthusiastic Lynn. I immediately felt at ease. Next came a slew of tests by several different technicians and a fantastic doctor, all of which were professional and polite. A few days later came the surgery. Again, Lynn was there to greet us but this time, much to the delight of my husband, she had supplied food and coffee (which was fabulous.) Soft soothing music was played while the final preparations for my LASIK procedure took place. The entire mood of the day was so uplifting and calming. It was almost as exciting as the birth of my children. I met with Dr. Zimmer and he explained all of my test results and asked if I had any questions. I can honestly say that the entire staff was so well versed in this whole process that by the time I met with him, all of my questions had been answered. Off to the LASER Suite we went and Dr. Zimmer explained everything step by step. Any bit of anxiety just left my body as I knew I was in the best of care. Before I knew it, I was seeing better than I could believe. Off I went after the procedure to return the following day with perfect vision. I read the letters on the eye chart and gushed as I was seeing better than I ever had before and this was less than 24 hours since my procedure. Another wonderful doctor checked me under a microscope and declared that I was healing beautifully. We chatted and then off I went outside into the world looking at it thru a whole new set of eyes! Well, not new, just dramatically improved. Thank you for everything!

First, all I can say is WOW! I wanted to thank all of you for my AMAZING vision! The day of my procedure I was very nervous until I arrived at your office where I was greeted by Lynn who got me so pumped up and then any anxiety turned to excitement. Everyone was so nice to me and made me feel so comfortable. I was amazed that my procedure was quick and painless! After I went home and slept for several hours, I woke up, looked around and was positively blown away by my perfect vision. I had no pain or discomfort at all and I couldn’t tell that I had just had my eyes done other than I had never seen so clearly in my life! I am writing this to thank Lynn, Dr. Zimmer and the staff for the wonderful experience that I had from start to finish with my recent LASIK surgery. I had a very heavy prescription and had worn contact lenses and glasses for as long as I can remember. My vision now is clearer than it ever was with a brand new pair of contact lenses. You can’t get any better than 20/15 vision in both eyes! It is so wonderful to wake up and see everything so clearly and to get rid of the everyday routine of cleaning and inserting lenses. I would highly recommend this procedure with Associates in Ophthalmology. I know I made the right decision and I can’t thank you enough!

My experience with my recent LASIK procedure was great! Lynn was very helpful with the many questions that I had and everyone in the center was so nice to me. My procedure could not have gone any smoother. The technicians I worked with were all very friendly and explained everything to me. I was extremely impressed and will be referring other to the center and to Dr. Zimmer. I was very grateful that Dr. Zimmer called me the night of my procedure to see how I was feeling.
